The family-run company has been developing and producing riveting machines and assembly systems for the automotive, hardware and electrical industries for more than 75 years. FMW Friedrich laid the foundation for a riveting process that is still the most effective and economical today. The radial point riveting technique was patented for FMW Friedrich in 1966.

We are a team of drive technology specialists in Markdorf. Our passion is working with high-quality drive products in conjunction with sophisticated customer applications. The company's innovation, the MovingCap control attachment, which is used in mechanical and plant engineering, also meets individual customer requirements. It makes it possible to fine-tune drive controls, which previously often worked with coarse electric motors, to the customer's requirements.

fünfeinhalb presents BlitzFunk: the new real-time WLAN for control & safety. fünfeinhalb Funksysteme GmbH was founded in 2023 by four Ph.D. candidates at TU Dresden after several years of research into reliable wireless communications. The technology has been prototypically evaluated starting mid-2023. BlitzFunk is available as CE-certified product since the end of 2024, and since 2025 also for 6 GHz. Serial production began in early 2025, and the product is now available in large quantities.
