Kabel Sterner is a medium-sized family company with tradition and future, which was founded in 1991. Following the merger with Bayernkabel on 1 July 2025, we now have two locations: our headquarter in Gaimersheim and our production location in Grafenau. We specialize in the development of special cables and standard-related cables and rely on the highest quality standards. With our modern machine park we can offer our customers a large variety of products. Thanks to our production and storage space of 11.500m², we deliver the ordered stock goods precisely. Kabel Sterner is a medium-sized family-owned company, that was founded in 1991. Since 2002, the AGRO AG is part of the KAISER Group. It has a presence in China and is one of the pioneers in the field of cable glands with over 60 years of experience and numerous patents. Today, the range of cable glands includes more than 3,500 products thar professionally cover all applications in craft and industry. In addition, special designs according to customer specifications are a matter of course. The cable glands carry all major national and international certification marks and are therefore used worldwide.

Since 2002, the AGRO AG is part of the KAISER Group. It has a presence in China and is one of the pioneers in the field of cable glands with over 60 years of experience and numerous patents. Today, the range of cable glands includes more than 3,500 products thar professionally cover all applications in craft and industry. In addition, special designs according to customer specifications are a matter of course. AGRO cable glands – The all-rounders. Our standard range of cable glands consists of high-quality products and systems for professional cable entry in industrial systems. But customer-specific requirements are also our specialty. With our modular Progress® system, the right cable gland can be individually assembled for almost any requirement. Our core Progress® series includes short and long metric and Pg connection threads as well as NPT and gas pipe threads. We also offer various one- and two-piece sealing inserts made of NBR, TPE or FPM for a wide range of cable diameters. Multiple and multiLAYER sealing inserts, also in slotted form, allow the insertion of pre-assembled cables. Additional functions are integrated into the cable gland using different compression nuts. Versions with bending protection trumpet, antikink spring or clamping jaws are possible. Combination conduit fittings offer the opportunity to connect the protective conduit in a professional and time-optimized manner in addition to sealing the cable. AGRO cable glands are available in brass, stainless steel or plastic. In addition, all cable glands can also be manufactured from lead-free brass.
