D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors
This highly sensitive infrared sensor for non-contact heat measurement is equipped with Omron's proprietary MEMS sensor technology. The D6T's operating principle is based on the detection of infrared radiation. This makes it ideal for people detection and also detects stationary objects that conventional PIR structures cannot reliably detect. The D6T can detect different heat sources within an area for energy saving, security, and monitoring purposes. In addition, the sensor outputs temperature data, enabling easy analysis of the optimal temperature in a room and immediately detecting any unusual changes. This makes it ideal for detecting idle production lines or overheated areas, thus allowing for timely prevention of machine damage and fires.
