Improve what moves. With this goal in mind, igus has been developing and producing motion plastics since 1964: lubrication-free and tribologically, i.e. in terms of friction and wear, optimized high-performance plastics for motion. These include products from the fields of energy chains, cables, plain, ball and spherical bearings, linear and drive technology, semi-finished products, 3D printing, low-cost robotics and intelligent sensor technology, which help customers to improve their technology and reduce costs.

With the low-cost automation portfolio, igus has the goal of making cost-effective and user-friendly automation solutions accessible to everyone. Developed and produced in Cologne for the whole world. igus provides everything users need for low-cost process automation from a single source: individual components for customized solutions or for expanding existing applications, delta, gantry and SCARA robots, articulated arm robots and cobots as well as autonomous mobile robots.
