About us
The name MANNER is synonymous with R&D projects and sophisticated industrial solutions in the field of prototyping. What our team develops and manufactures is consistently at the cutting edge across a wide range of industries. With our diversified business portfolio, we have demonstrated exceptional resilience and stability for nearly 35 years. We are particularly proud of our contribution to increasing the efficiency of drive systems – from internal combustion engines and industrial applications to rail transport and more efficient propulsion systems in aviation. At MANNER, there are no off-the-shelf projects.
MANNER Sensor Telemetry is also a major player in the development of electric drives. In addition to Audi, BMW, ZF, Daimler, and Volkswagen, companies such as LG (South Korea) and Geely (China) rely on our technology.
Other areas of application include offshore drilling platforms, deep-sea vessels, and aluminum plants. In motorsports as well, many renowned teams – from touring cars and Formula 1 to motorcycle racing – work with our technology.

MANNER Sensortelemetrie Expands DAkkS Certification Portfolio for Miniature Sensors: Ultimate Precision in Torque and Torque Measurement Chain Technology

TelMAX – Efficient Torque and Condition Monitoring for Drivetrains
TelMAX – Efficient Torque and Condition Monitoring for Drivetrains TelMAX is the innovative torque measurement system from MANNER Sensortelemetrie for dynamic monitoring of drivetrains, gearboxes, pumps, motors, cardan shafts and similar machinery. It enables cost-efficient, contactless torque measurement without soldering or gluing, significantly simplifying installation and reducing downtime. At the core of TelMAX is a telemetric torsion sensor based on strain gauge technology, which is mounted directly onto the rotating shaft using micro-welding technology. This preserves the shaft material and allows the sensor to be installed and operational within minutes – without complex preparation or curing times. The measured data is transmitted wirelessly from the rotating sensor to the stationary receiver unit. The evaluation electronics provide robust interfaces such as analog voltage, 4–20 mA current and CAN, enabling easy integration into control systems and automation environments. TelMAX offers high signal quality and dynamic performance, making it ideal for capturing fast load changes and complex dynamic processes. Its robust design ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments where conventional strain gauge bonding techniques are impractical. Typical applications include condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, load and efficiency measurement, retrofit projects on existing machinery, and analysis of real operating load profiles. TelMAX provides a practical, flexible and future-proof solution for torque and condition monitoring in modern industrial and Industry 4.0 applications.
TelMA-Torque - miniaturised Torsion Sensor
TelMA – Intelligent Transmission Monitoring and Torque Measurement for Condition Monitoring TelMA is the miniaturised, telemetric torque sensor from MANNER Sensortelemetrie designed for efficient monitoring of gearboxes and rotating machinery. It is specifically developed for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and Industry 4.0 applications, enabling continuous measurement of torque, speed and temperature directly on the shaft. The sensor is attached using micro-welding technology, preserving the shaft material without gluing or soldering, and can be installed within minutes. Thanks to contactless data transmission, TelMA operates maintenance-free and is ideal for both new installations and retrofit projects. Typical applications include gearboxes, motors, pumps, generators and drive trains. TelMA provides valuable condition data for early detection of wear, overload and malfunctions, supports process optimisation and increases operational reliability. With multiple interfaces such as CAN, analog outputs and optional Ethernet, TelMA can be easily integrated into control systems and automation environments – enabling transparent, data-driven and future-proof machine monitoring.

XtreMA High-Precision Torque
Here is the English version: --- **XtreMA High-Precision TORQUE – High-Accuracy Torque Sensors from 50 N·m to 10 kN·m** With increasing CO₂ regulations, the demand for highly accurate torque measurement continues to grow. Precise and high-resolution torque signals are essential for optimizing efficiency in vehicle development. With the XtreMA High-Precision TORQUE series, MANNER Sensortelemetrie offers an innovative solution for precise torque measurement. The sensors stand out for their maximum accuracy, flexible application options, and easy integration into existing test bench systems. The torque sensors are ideally suited for use on test benches for combustion engines, hybrid drives, and electric powertrains. Especially during validation, high-resolution sensors are required to reliably detect even the smallest efficiency improvements. The XtreMA series enables precise measurements from idle to full load and across a wide operating temperature range. A key advantage is the high level of flexibility: Thanks to the DIN flange pattern and compatibility with HBK torque sensors, the sensors can be easily integrated into new or existing test bench concepts (retrofit). The optional hollow shaft design also allows additional drive shafts or cables to be routed through the sensor, offering maximum freedom for modern test bench setups.
