Sensor Connectivity
Connecting the Intelligence of Sensors Electro-Mechanical Interface: Connectors used in sensor technology form the electro-mechanical interface between sensors and high-level control or evaluation units. They ensure the reliable transmission of: - Analog signals - Digital data - Power supply Sensor connectors perform key functions such as ensuring reliable electrical contact, providing mechanical strain relief, and protecting the interface from environmental influences. Locking mechanisms and vibration-optimized contact geometries ensure a stable, interference-free signal transmission even under strong dynamic loads. Many applications also place high demands on sealing performance. Protection classes such as IP67, IP68, or IP69K safeguard the connection against moisture, dust, oils, and intensive cleaning processes, maintaining a durable, leak-tight interface even after numerous mating cycles.
