WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH
About us
Since almost seven decades, WEBER has set standards in the development and manufacture of automatic handheld screwdrivers and stationary screwdriving systems. Worldwide, more than 400 employees ensure that this will continue to be the case in the future. It’s a promise.
The automation of screwdriving processes in assembly are complex. It is about finding solutions that meet diverse standards and parameters. WEBER sees itself as a systems specialist. The company not just develops handheld and stationary screwdriving systems, but synchronized systems that enable the desired increase in efficiency.
Products & services

Handheld screwdriver
WEBER’s handheld screwdrivers for industrial assembly combine ergonomics and variability in each model. The advantages of the electric and pneumatic handheld screwdrivers are obvious: highly flexible, powerful, and thanks to programmable control nearly 100 percent process-reliable. In addition, ergonomics and variability play a central role in manual fitting with handheld screwdrivers. WEBER enables with its products – in particular thanks to their built-in bit stroke – fatigue-free working, while realizing high quantities in extremely short cycle times. Freedom in connection technology, as WEBER understands it.

Fixtured screwdriver
As is well known, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. WEBER screw systems also grow with the demands that companies place on automated assembly processes. Stationary screwdriving technology is used when connection processes become more complex, cycle rates shorter, and quality requirements greater. WEBER’s variably configurable stationary screwdriving spindles adapt to all screwdriving cases: Whether nozzles, stroke lengths, sensors, or drive technology – depending on the task and screwdriving process, WEBER screw automation offers tailored solutions. The effort required to change tools on the screwdriving units remains low – thanks to the tool-free change of the screwdriving set.

SEV-P screwdriver for lightweight robots with tool changer
Screwdriving applications with tool Changer for lightweight robotics – SEV-P from 1.5 kg The SEV-P is a screwdriver without automatic feeding, designed for use in Pick and Place applications. Thanks to the optional vacuum technology, the fastener can be reliably guided to the screwdriving location and fastened by the spindle. Due to its extremely compact design, the weight has been reduced to as little as 1.5 kg. The Pick and Place screwdriver features a flange according to ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 and is therefore suitable for adaptation to a wide range of lightweight robots.

Feeding Systems
Feed Systems Automation of assembly processes normally pursues three objectives: efficiency enhancement, quality improvement and cost reduction. To achieve these objectives, the supply of fasteners must be trouble-free and as gentle as possible on the material. WEBER, with its automatic feed systems, achieves a maximum of process quality. The development of these systems requires experience and know-how. WEBER has developed and manufactured individual components for many years, combining them to fully automated feeding systems. After currently more than 30,000 delivered screwdriving and assembly systems with automatic feeding, WEBER is one of the leading companies in this area.

Robot-assisted flow-drilling screwdriving system RSF
Composite construction methods and one-sided accessibility of joints are challenges for the joining technology in body construction. The robot-assisted screwdriving system for flow-drilling screws RSF ensure high-strength connections in a joining process. Screw connections can be accomplished with or without pilot holes – material variations and manufacturing tolerances are compensated.

Inserting system for blind rivet nuts and bolts SBM
Precision in all process steps – for durable connections! Ensure process reliability for detachable connections in any position. Your product for automatic blind rivet nut installation in industrial assembly with automatic feeding for short cycle times.
