PLC-Programer (m/w/d)

CheckTec GmbH develops innovative solutions for automation, robotics, and industrial system integration. Together with our customers, we create intelligent machinery and testing systems – from the initial concept and implementation to integration into industrial IT.

Your responsibilities
• Programming and development of control software (Siemens PLC) and HMI visualizations
• Technical project responsibility from implementation to commissioning
• Commissioning of control and testing systems at customer sites (approx. 20% travel)

Your profile
• Vocational training or a degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal / S7)

Your future responsibilities
👉 You develop and program control software based on Siemens PLC systems and create the corresponding HMI visualizations
👉 You take responsibility for subprojects or complete automation projects – from technical design and implementation to successful commissioning
👉 You coordinate technical activities with mechanical design, assembly, and customers while keeping schedules, quality, and system performance on track
👉 Together with our assembly team, you perform functional checks and system tests to ensure reliable operation of the machines and systems
👉 You create and maintain technical documentation, such as operating manuals and system documentation
👉 You commission our control and testing systems at customer sites and end-user facilities (approx. 20% travel)

Your profile
☑️ Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable field
☑️ Experience in PLC programming
☑️ Willingness to travel for commissioning assignments (approx. 15–20%)
☑️ Motivation, reliability, and a strong team-oriented mindset
☑️ Good command of the German language (written and spoken)
☑️ Valid driver’s license (Class B)
