Intuitive online tool for customized control cabinet design

Automation specialist LÜTZE, based in Weinstadt, Germany, presents the new AirSTREAM Control Cabinet Configurator – a free web-based tool for the efficient design and optimized configuration of control cabinets.

With the AirSTREAM Configurator, LÜTZE is entering a new era of control cabinet design. The intuitive, browser-based tool has been specifically developed for the requirements of modern control cabinet manufacturing and offers maximum flexibility and efficiency. The configurator guides users step by step through the entire process: from selecting the cabinet (all standard models are preloaded) and entering geometric data to arranging and sizing the rail system (VPSym, SR032). Components can be freely positioned, height-adjusted, and supplemented with accessories such as EMC profiles or the LÜTZE AirBLOWER. Existing configurations can be saved and reused for future projects.

A key advantage: the configurator is fully integrated into LÜTZE’s sales and production processes. Prices and individual discounts are displayed automatically, orders can be placed directly, and data is seamlessly transferred into the ERP system. This saves time, avoids duplicate work, and reduces coordination efforts. Once approved by the customer, the configuration data flows straight into production. The configurator also enables 3D exports in STEP format. EPLAN interface is planned for 2026. For additional user support, LÜTZE will soon provide comprehensive training materials and short tutorial videos for a quick introduction.
