Successor to the proven NF-KC-DAR series combines EMC filtering and residual current reduction
NF-KC-DAR2 Series
Increasing requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and rising leakage currents present machine/control cabinet manufacturers and plant operators with the challenge of preventing unwanted tripping of residual current devices (RCDs), reliably implementing plant designs, and simultaneously ensuring compliance with EMC requirements.
With the addition of its product range to include the new NF-KC-DAR2 filter series – available with or without a neutral conductor depending on the power supply configuration – EPA GmbH offers a compact combination solution for demanding frequency inverter and servo controller applications with long motor cables.
The NF-KC-DAR2 combines highly efficient EMC filtering and effective leakage current reduction in a single system. The filter series reduces operational leakage currents in the range of the switching frequency, improves electromagnetic compatibility, and prevents unwanted RCD tripping.
With rated currents ranging from 16 A to 180 or 230 A, the series is suitable for a wide range of applications. The compact design facilitates integration into machines and equipment and allows for horizontal or vertical mounting in control cabinets.
