    4. Transponder-coded safety switches with guard locking

Transponder-coded safety switches with guard locking

The transponder-coded safety systems from EUCHNER are modern interlocking devices or guard locking devices of type 4 for the protection of persons, machines and processes. They are based on non-contact transponder technology (RFID) and consist of a coded actuator, a read head and evaluation electronics. In some systems, the read head and evaluation electronics form a self-contained unit. All safety functions are combined in a single component here (internal evaluation). With external evaluation, the actuator is read via a separate read head connected to an evaluation unit in the control cabinet. Your benefits - Maximum protection against tampering due to uniquely coded actuator - Highest safety category and Performance Level (PL) according to EN ISO 13849‑1 - Depending on the application, a device with a suitable actuating range can be selected - The large actuating range offers greater door guide tolerance - The actuator can be rotated within the read head’s actuating range - Less sensitive to dirt on the surface - Largely insensitive to vibration and shock - Can be used in harsh environments - Suitable for areas with increased hygiene requirements

    8. Ultrasonic Sensors

      Ultrasonic Sensors

Ultrasonic sensors offer versatile applications for detecting transparent, dark, glossy, reflective or porous surfaces as well as detecting objects or liquids, even under adverse conditions such as contamination, dust, mist or ambient light. The measurement is carried out by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, the results of which are either output as an analog or switching output or transmitted via IO-Link. The sensors can be used in various operating modes, such as synchronous, multiplex, reflex or throughbeam mode. In synchronous mode, up to 40 sensors can be used together depending on the sensor type and thus cover a larger area. Multiplex mode prevents mutual interference between adjacent or opposing sensors. Depending on the application, ultrasonic sensors are available in different housing formats, from the space-saving cylindrical or cubic format to the fork format.

Unmatched in Blue – wenglor Presents the World’s First ToF Sensor with Blue Laser Unmatched in Blue – wenglor Presents the World’s First ToF Sensor with Blue Laser

With the P1PY21 series, the wenglor sensoric group is setting new standards in sensor technology. The P1PY21 uses blue laser as the world’s first sensor with time-of-flight technology. With impressive performance: the wintec with blue light delivers precise measurement results even under extreme conditions. Thanks to the shorter wavelength, blue laser light does not penetrate as deeply into the object surface, enabling stable detection in dark, glossy, organic or (semi-)transparent materials. An integrated special filter ensures reliable detection even in the event of interference from high-emitting objects, such as glowing metals. Equipped with proven Dynamic Sensitivity technology, wintec combines precision and innovation with blue light, making it the ideal solution for complex applications in automation technology. The integrated innovative BlueLine technology is based on short-wave blue laser light with a wavelength of 445 nm and achieves high accuracy on demanding surfaces, such as glossy plastics, dark paints or polished metals. Red glowing surfaces in the metal industry are also reliably detected. The reduced penetration depth of the blue laser ensures safe detection of organic materials and can be operated safely according to laser class 2. The P1PY21 series also handles even uneven surfaces with holes, tears or grid structures with a wide detection range thanks to the large-area line-shaped laser light spot. The Highlights at a Glance: BlueLine technology with short-wave blue laser light at 445 nm wavelength High accuracy on shiny plastics, dark paints, polished metals Reliable detection of red glowing surfaces Safe capture of organic materials Safe operation according to laser class 2 Dynamic jump detection, intensity evaluation, integrated speed measurement and transparent object detection Large working range of up to 5 meters
