About us
The ALTRATEC team automates, designs, manufactures, assembles and sells partially and fully automated transfer systems for production and assembly lines in a wide range of industries. Founded in 1987, our company, which is still owner-managed today, has a range of conveyor technologies at
whose versatility makes it one of the most versatile
on the entire market. Two sites in Germany, an additional site in China and experienced partners in North America and Europe allow us to act as a global partner for partially and fully automated transfer systems.
We are a development partner for various branches of industry and specialize in
customer-specific handling applications. Technical creativity, the highest level of solution expertise and sound experience are our success factors in engineering, production and service.

LAT® Flex Sturdy
Product specifications Our innovative accumulation, conveying, and assembly transport system offers an efficient, space-saving, and gentle solution for material handling. It enables reliable interlinking solutions and supports face-side loading and unloading in a wide range of production environments. Efficient transport The system is suitable for products up to 2,500 mm and 60 kg. It only requires 120 watts of drive power and does not need any sensors, controls or protective housings. Functional principle A continuous flat belt moves workpiece carriers mounted on roller bearings. Workpiece carriers are decoupled from the transport medium by stop and accumulation mechanisms. The return transport in the lower run and optional centering stations enable precise loading and unloading. Flexibility The system allows for various orientations, including standard, suspended, or rotated configurations. It can carry workpiece carriers of up to 60 kg and is suitable for multi-level operation.
LAT Flex
Our new ALTRATEC LAT Flex is a revolutionary solution in conveyor technology. Compared to conventional recirculating conveyors, the LAT Flex has a much more compact and simpler design. With a system length of up to 25 meters, it fits perfectly into your production line and offers maximum efficiency and flexible application options. Heavy-duty: With a load capacity of 5 kg per chain link, the LAT Flex is the perfect solution for transporting a wide range of components Compact and safe: The optimized design eliminates the need for a protective housing. Use in (almost) any situation: Whether in the standard orientation, as a suspended system (transport at the bottom, return at the top) or rotated by 90° (e.g. feed on the left, return on the right) - the LAT Flex adapts to your requirements. Optimized layout design: Workpiece carriers can be accumulated in the deflector, which saves stoppers and thus reduces mechanical and control costs. Decoupling from the transport medium means there is no back pressure. Simple integration: Only a 230V connection with frequency converter or alternatively 400V is required for operation. Space-saving and energy-efficient: Driven by a 90 W motor inserted into the profile, the LAT Flex ensures high energy efficiency with a small footprint. Larger drives are also possible if required. Innovative technology: Thanks to electromagnetic stoppers, no compressed air is required - this saves costs and reduces maintenance work. Low wear: The load rollers with ball bearings offer low running resistance. The transport medium is separated from the path of the load rollers. Flexible design of the component holders: Thanks to soft support elements, the LAT Flex offers the option of transporting large parts, including bumpers and instrument panels, in multi-track operation.
Plate chain conveyor 2.0
Our ALTRATEC chain conveyor systems are based on standardized mechanical modules, that can also be combined with other ALTRATEC conveyor systems to create customized transport systems. Since many modules are used across the entire spectrum of the ALTRATEC conveyor systems, we are able to offer appropriate and affordable solutions for every application. The proven designs of ALTRATEC conveyor systems have been developed for use in a wide variety of industrial environments and have proven their durability in many applications.
Over/under conveyor
The conveyor can function as either an accumulating conveyor or an indexing conveyor, transporting workpieces or workpiece carriers (WPC) horizontally (as an accumulating or indexing conveyor) or vertically (as an indexing conveyor). It utilizes an accumulating roller chain made of hardened steel, ensuring ruggedness and failsafe operation, thanks to ALTRATEC’s proven aluminium profile system. The roller shutter principle at the WPC reversal saves both space and money. Loading and unloading processes can be performed manually or automatically, with workpiece carriers capable of being buffered during loading or unloading. The length and width of the workpiece carriers can be configured to meet almost any requirement due to its modular design, making it optimally adaptable. Additionally, the system is impervious to oils and cooling lubricants and can include optional automatic chain lubrication. It boasts a long service life and requires low maintenance.
Accumulating roller chain conveyor
Our ALTRATEC chain conveyor systems are based on standardized mechanical modules, that can also be combined with other ALTRATEC conveyor systems to create customized transport systems. The proven designs of ALTRATEC conveyor systems have been developed for use in a wide variety of industrial environments and have proven their durability in many applications. All conveyors can be equipped with automatic chain tensioning and lubrication systems.
