Over/under conveyor

The conveyor can function as either an accumulating conveyor or an indexing conveyor, transporting workpieces or workpiece carriers (WPC) horizontally (as an accumulating or indexing conveyor) or vertically (as an indexing conveyor). It utilizes an accumulating roller chain made of hardened steel, ensuring ruggedness and failsafe operation, thanks to ALTRATEC’s proven aluminium profile system. The roller shutter principle at the WPC reversal saves both space and money. Loading and unloading processes can be performed manually or automatically, with workpiece carriers capable of being buffered during loading or unloading. The length and width of the workpiece carriers can be configured to meet almost any requirement due to its modular design, making it optimally adaptable. Additionally, the system is impervious to oils and cooling lubricants and can include optional automatic chain lubrication. It boasts a long service life and requires low maintenance.
