IDEC Smart RFID Reader KW2D-Serie
KW2D Series intelligent RFID increases application tracking, security, access levels and productivity. Designed for easy integration into industrial systems, this RFID device enables OEMs and end users to implement secure device identification, access control and traceability. The integrated Ethernet port enables quick connection to host devices such as PLCs and HMIs via Modbus TCP. A built-in LED and an additional buzzer provide feedback on the operating status. KW2D readers operate at a standard radio frequency of 13.56 MHz and provide a reading distance of up to 15mm depending on tag style. The KW2D series supports third-party RFID tags when the tags operate at 13.56 MHz and comply with Type A, Type F or Type V standards.
