SCHLAGER Industrieofenbau GmbH is a leading specialist in industrial furnace construction, thermal process technology, and automation technology. For over 30 years, we have been developing and manufacturing customized switchgear, test cabinets, and control systems for thermal processing systems, special-purpose machinery, and complex industrial processes.

PLC programming
PLC programming that is self-thinking – secure, simple to maintain and customisable. We optimise safety-relevant processes using fail-safe and programmable logic controllers in our PLC programming. By minimising the necessary hardware components, we reduce potential sources of failure and the need for spare parts. Our PLC programming is more than just code. Each controller is precisely tailored to your production process's requirements – there are no off-the-shelf solutions. Existing systems can be easily integrated, making it ideal for retrofits or modernisations. We also develop fail-safe controllers according to current standards. Structured programming and comprehensive documentation ensure processes are always traceable, providing a significant advantage during audits and maintenance. Our controllers are future-proof and can be expanded, whether through new sensors, additional modules or integration with Industry 4.0 solutions.
Visualsiation
Those who can see their data manage it better. With our modern visualisation systems based on Siemens WinCC, we make your complex production processes transparent. Our systems are user-friendly, easy to operate and provide high transparency and long-term quality assurance. This enables you to efficiently control and optimise your processes with a solution that is tailored to your needs. PM-Quality software, also from Siemens, creates detailed production reports. Real-time data from various production steps (batches) is summarised, analysed and logged.
Electrical design
We establish the basis for your switchgear – safe, transparent, efficient. Our electrical design creates the basis for clear, comprehensible documentation of your switchgear. We use proven design programmes such as EPLAN P8 Professional and WSCAD, which give us powerful tools for precise planning and standard-compliant implementation. We integrate your specific specifications and requirements into every phase of the project, whether it involves end-to-end planning, manufacturing, commissioning, or maintenance. This ensures that your electrical design meets the highest safety standards and is optimally tailored to your needs. Alongside the circuit diagram pages of the electrical design, the scope of delivery naturally includes control cabinet layout plans, parts lists, cable diagrams, PLC symbol lists and more. All materials and electrical/electronic components are sourced from recognised manufacturers and distributors.
Controls and Switchgear
Intelligent control. Maximum efficiency. All from a single source. As an experienced automation and control technology partner, Schlager Industrieofenbau develops intelligent solutions for mechanical and plant engineering, ranging from simple control panels to networked high-performance systems. Our focus: - Planning and engineering in accordance with MRL/MVO, UL 508A and ATEX specifications - Design of PLC-controlled switchgear using the Siemens TIA Portal and S7-1200/1500 and ET200SP. - Implementation of visualised HMI systems based on Siemens WinCC or web-enabled operating solutions - Integration of Industry 4.0/IIoT solutions (OPC UA, MQTT, edge gateways and cloud connectivity). - Energy monitoring and predictive maintenance through smart sensors and data connectivity Retrofitting and migration of legacy control systems (e.g. S5 to S7 or S7 to TIA). Our control cabinets are manufactured in-house and undergo full testing, wiring and documentation using EPLAN P8 or WSCAD.
