Your Future Responsibilities:

• Programming of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems
• Commissioning of AGV systems both in-house and at customer sites
• Commissioning of software for controlling and managing complex intralogistics systems, including complete BÄR Automation solutions with AGVs, conveyor control systems, and shuttle systems
• Development of Siemens STEP 7 programs and corresponding HMI visualization software for customer projects
• Implementation of software modifications and optimizations
• Support of systems from commissioning and trial operation through production ramp-up to final customer acceptance
• Training of customer personnel
• Preparation of technical documentation

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive PLC programming and project engineering experience, preferably with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Programming skills in C, C++, C#, Java and/or microcontrollers
• Experience with WinCC Flexible visualization software
• Knowledge of drive technology is an advantage
• Experience with CANopen, PROFINET, iWLAN, and Microsoft Office
• Independent, motivated, innovative, and flexible working style with a strong sense of responsibility
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally
• Valid Class B driving license
