Demonstration Gearbox for Visualizing a Magnetic Gear

This demonstrator is designed to illustrate the operating principle of a magnetic gear.

In the shown configuration, the ring gear is rigidly fixed to the housing. The system is driven via the 6-pole rotor.
The modulator rotates with a transmission ratio of i = 5.6, meaning it turns 5.6 times slower than the rotor.

Torque transmission without mechanical contact – and without lubrication.
