Stecher Automation GmbH was spun off in 2019 as an independent sister company from Stecher Drehtechnik GmbH, a machining company established in 1964. The accumulated knowledge in the area of manufacturing, testing and measuring processes has been developed and built up over the years according to the guiding principle "Automation of turning for lathe operators". Complex production lines, robot solutions and small automations have already been developed, planned and implemented for Stecher Drehtechnik GmbH. From the goods carrier to the driverless transport system to highly flexible and modular robot applications controlled from a production control station in combination with a wide variety of production machines, we offer everything from a single source.

Founded in 1987, STEM S.r.l. began its production activity by manufacturing magnetic proximity sensors and magnetic units. Over the years, the range of products has expanded with the introduction of level switches for industrial applications, sensors and control units for lifts and systems for machine functional safety designed to integrate sensors and coded magnetic units used to transmit signals to a dedicated safety control units. Inclinometer and magnetic angular sensors are the latest product added to our portfolio to approach hydraulic and agriculture machine builder market STEM product quality is guaranteed by the achievement of the ISO 9001:2015 system certification (First quality certificate issued by DNV in 1997) and by the product approvals granted by TUV, IMQ, UL.
