EFCO was founded in Taiwan in 1974 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The company has been developing platform solutions for embedded computers for 30 years and, from a German perspective, is the solid medium-sized company among IPC producers with around 150 employees. A good 20 engineers ensure that the company can bring a whole range of high-performance, fanless computer platforms for industrial use onto the market - right up to DIN rail IPCs where all connections are located at the front. In keeping with the interests of its customers in industrial image processing and automation, EFCO focuses on long-term available solutions that are designed for continuous use around the clock and built without consumer components. True to its motto “Exactly YOUR computer”, EFCO supports its customers with its own design-in support on site in Deggendorf and also supplies customer-specific computers in small quantities. The logistics concept is tailored precisely to this and ensures that customers in Europe can be delivered from the headquarters in Taiwan over the weekend. Since 2023, EFCO Electronics has been a certified service and sales partner of Teltonika in Germany, the Lithuania-based specialist for communication solutions in the industrial environment. EFCO has other branches of its own in the USA (Las Vegas), in the UK and in China (Shenzhen).
